Today, as we celebrate the 60th birthday of Mary<\/strong>, we, the Golden Girls Club<\/strong>, take a moment to honour one of our own\u2014an extraordinary woman whose life is a beautiful blend of strength, warmth, and grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Golden Girls Club (GGC)<\/strong> is a private circle of Kenyan women living in the UK, bound not just by heritage but by purpose. We are connected through friendship, shared culture, and a vision to empower one another across generations. From vibrant millennials to wise baby boomers, our membership is rich in diversity yet united in one mission: to grow together, invest together, support each other, and create a lasting legacy rooted in authenticity and sisterhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the newest and youngest member of this powerful sisterhood, I have been deeply moved by the strength, elegance, and wisdom that surrounds me. And among the women who embody these values so beautifully is Mary<\/strong>\u2014not only a cherished Golden Girl but also someone I proudly call a neighbour back in Kenya. To see her celebrated today is a deeply personal and heartwarming moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning 60 is no small milestone. For Mary, it\u2019s a celebration of a life lived with purpose, humility, laughter, and style. Her presence in the Golden Girls Club is a gift\u2014she brings joy, wisdom, and a calm confidence that reminds us all what true grace looks like. Mary is the kind of woman whose light uplifts others, whose words comfort, and whose life inspires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as we celebrate Mary, we also take a moment to honour the steady hand and passionate heart behind the Golden Girls Club\u2014our Chairlady, Nelly Mwangi<\/strong>. Nelly, your leadership has been the backbone of this club. Through your vision, compassion, and unwavering dedication, you have created a safe, empowering space where women can truly be themselves. Thank you for keeping the bond strong, the culture alive, and the sisterhood growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
